The Elmer Fire Department mourns the loss 'Bucky' Volkmar. Bucky served as truck captain as well as procuring prizes for the annual carnival.

     Elmer Fire Department's  20th Annual Golf Tournament will be held on June 18th at the Centerton Golf Club. A shotgun start will be at 12:00PM.

The Elmer Fire Department sorrowfully announces the passing of Past-Chief Benjamin Hitzelberger Jr. Ben has been a firefighter with Elmer Fire Department, ran with Elmer and Pennsville ambulance squads, and police officer in Elmer.

Today the Elmer Fire Department is mourning the loss of Walter Dunham.

Today the Elmer Fire Department is mourning the loss of 17 year old Junior Firefighter Timothy Crim. Tim joined the department at the age of 16 as a junior firefighter and was working his way up to becoming a Probationary Firefighter. Tim comes from a long family history of Elmer Firefighters, his late father Past Chief Thomas D. Crim , Firefighter Evan Crim (Brother), Past Chief Herman Crim (late grandfather), Past Chief Robert Crim (Uncle), Captain Nate Crim and Firefighter Kate Crim (Cousins).

The officers and members of Elmer Fire Department are sadden to announce the passing of Layton Hemsley aka Woody. Woody served our community with honor since May of 1974, his dedication, wisdom and friendship will never be forgotten.
